TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com - As many as 2,000 CCTV cameras will oversee the operations of Soekarno-Hatta Airport ahead of the Christmas and New Year period. The Managing Director of Angkasa Pura II, Awaluddin said, the post which was located in Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport would become a monitoring center for 2,000 CCTVs scattered at the airport.
"This post is equipped with access to 2,000 internal CCTV airport points, 24-hour video conference and airport center access and is effective today and ends on January 6, 2020," Awaluddin said when met at the Christmas and New Year Posts at Terminal 1 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Wednesday (12/18/2019).
Awaluddin explained, starting today the Christmas transport post and the new 2020 year specifically for the Soekarno-Hatta Airport have been opened.
Besides turning on 2,000 CCTVs, the readiness of personnel has also been taken into account.
"The adequacy of personnel for the operation of around 2,500 Soetta Airport consists of personnel operated at the airport, service personnel and also supporting airport business activities," he said.
Not only airport officials, there will be 1,000 officers from various stakeholders plus 600 police officers and 3,500 officers from Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
"Our target is three, for the continuation of air transport flight safety and then guarantee the security of airport security and maximize airport services," Awaluddin explained.
