TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Along with the expansion of the corona pandemic or Covid-19 in Indonesia, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) changed the operating hours of the 12 airports it manages. Changes in operational hours that are becoming shorter are intended to help prevent the spread of the corona virus.

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the airports were operating with shorter time than normal conditions. PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said, although operating hours were shortened, the airport would remain on standby to anticipate a number of flights in special conditions.
"Operational hours at 12 airports are shortened in the middle of the Corona pandemic, however PT Angkasa Pura II remains on standby if there are aircraft that experience technical and operational constraints and require the airport to land. We are also on standby if there are medical and logistical flights in particular that transport Covid-19 infection substance samples, "Muhammad Awaluddin said in a press release on Friday night 10 April 2020.

1. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport (Palembang)

2. Radin Inten II Airport (Lampung)
According to NOTAM CO413 / 20, the operating hours are 10.00-20.00 WIB on 10-30 April 2020, from 06.00-21.00 WIB
3. Supadio Airport (Pontianak)
According to NOTAM B0861 / 20, operating hours are 06.00-18.30 WIB on April 10 - May 29 2020, from 06.00-24.00 WIB
4. Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport (Pekanbaru)
According to NOTAM B0885 / 20, operational hours become 06.00-20.00 WIB on 10-30 April 2020, from 06.00-24.00 WIB
5. Banyuwangi Airport
According to Notam B0865 / 20, operational hours are 06.00-16.00 WIB on 10-30 April 2020, from 06.00-18.00 WIB
6. Kertajati Airport (Majalengka)

Pursuant to NOTAM C0409 / 20, operating hours are 06.00-19.00 WIB on 8-30 April 2020 from 06.00-21.00 WIB.
8. Depati Amir Airport (Pangkalpinang)
Pursuant to NOTAM B0846 / 20, the operating hours become 08.00-17.00 WIB on 8-21 April 2020 from the previous 06.00-21.00 WIB
9. Fatmawati Soekarno Airport (Bengkulu)
Pursuant to NOTAM C0408 / 20, operating hours become 07.00-17.00 WIB on 7-30 April 2020 from the previous 06.00-21.00 WIB
10. Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport (Aceh)
According to NOTAM A0937, operational hours become 08.00-18.00 WIB on 5-15 April 2020, from 06.00-22.00 WIB
11. Tjilik Riwut Airport (Palangkaraya)
According to NOTAM C0410 / 20, operating hours become 05.00-18.00 WIB on 10 April - 11 May 2020 from the previous 05.00-20.30 WIB
12. Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport (Tanjung Pinang)
According to Notam B0854 / 20, operational hours become 07.00-18.00 WIB on 9-30 April 2020 from the previous 07.00-19.00 WIB
In addition to the 12 airports, Muhammad Awaluddin said 7 other PT Angkasa Pura II airports were still operating at normal operating hours by looking at the latest developments. "Like Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Halim Perdanakusuma and Kualanamu still operate 24 hours."
