TANGERANG (BeritaTrans.com) - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) appreciates and is grateful to the ranks of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police for dismantling the syndicate of counterfeiters of Covid-19 test results.
"Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police released the disclosure of the Case of Faking Medical Certificates as a Flight Condition by the Garuda Team of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police," explained Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Chief Kompol Alexander Yuriko, Monday (1/18/2021).
At a press conference, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Yusri Yunus said that the disclosure of this case was also a collaboration between Soekarno-Hatta Airport stakeholders, namely the Ministry of Transportation, Aviation Security at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, the TNI, and other institutions.
Synergy needs to be carried out together with all stakeholders so that the incident of forgery of this letter does not repeat itself.
"Actually, the system is good, but people are always looking for opportunities. So that together we can synergize, “explained Kompol Alexander.
Meanwhile, Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Agus Haryadi said Angkasa Pura II fully supports the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police in providing a sense of security to airplane passengers, which has been realized by eliminating the syndicate of fake letters from Covid-19 test results.
Agus said the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police was one of the elements that strengthened the security aspect at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to eradicate actions that could harm airplane passengers and airport visitors.
"By revealing the syndicate of counterfeiters of Covid-19 test certificates, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police, along with other stakeholders, have taken concrete actions to support the common goal of healthy flights at Soekarno-Hatta Airport," he said.
His party is very appreciative and grateful to the ranks of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police for exposing the existence of unscrupulous individuals and syndicates of false certificates.
"We condemn the falsification of this Covid-19 test certificate. We also make sure that there are no AP II employees who become unscrupulous or join this syndicate," said Agus.
He said, a certificate of Covid-19 test results must be owned by prospective airplane passengers after actually carrying out tests at health facilities, and upon arrival at Soekarno-Hatta Airport the certificate will be validated by the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health (KKP of the Ministry of Health).
Furthermore, Agus Angkasa Pura II does not tolerate individuals who commit acts against the law such as offering, making, and giving fake test certificates to prospective airplane passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
"We invite all stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport to close ranks and increase vigilance not to make room for fake Covid-19 test papers," Agus said.
