Liputan6.com, Jakarta Stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport today, Thursday 21 January 2021, signed a Joint Agreement on Digitizing the eHAC Health Document for Departure at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the digitization of health documents/certificates of COVID-19 test results created a seamless journey because prospective airplane passengers no longer needed to carry physical paper and queue for manual validation.
"AP II encourages stakeholders so that Soekarno-Hatta Airport implements the digitization of certificates of COVID-19 test results as a condition for traveling on domestic routes. Thus, health protocols can be fulfilled more easily, customer experience also increases because a seamless journey is created, and no less important is that this also prevents the practice of counterfeiting test letters because validation is done digitally, "said Muhammad Awaluddin, Thursday (21/1/2021). ).
Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said the digitization of the COVID-19 test letter was carried out through the eHAC application owned by the Ministry of Health.
"Simply put, the implementation of digitizing test results can be explained as follows: Prospective passengers carry out COVID-19 tests at health facilities [faskes] that have been registered on the eHAC application, such as the Airport Health Center at Soekarno-Hatta Airport." "After the test, the health facility sends a negative test result to the eHAC of the prospective passenger. Then, prospective passengers will receive a QR Code in the eHAC application," said Agus Haryadi.
The QR Code in eHAC is shown by prospective passengers at the check-in counter to be checked by airline officers. Airline officers will also be at the Security Check Point 2 [SCP 2] point to check the QR Code for prospective passengers who do self check in or web check in.
"Supporting infrastructure is ready, at every check-in counter and at SCP 2, it is certain that there is a QR Code reader for airline officers," said Agus Haryadi.
Head of Soekarno-Hatta Regional I Airport Authority Office Moh. Alwi said that collaboration between stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, including presenting the digitization of health documents, is expected to dispel the practice of counterfeiting COVID-19 test results documents so as not to repeat themselves, and maintain public trust in air transportation.
"Prospective airplane passengers must carry out COVID-19 tests as required, this is to keep air transportation healthy, safe and comfortable when traveling," said Moh. Alwi.
