Launched 'Layanan Digital Zaman Now' through iMATE Lounge, AP II Becomes the Most Innovative Company

Jakarta - iMATE Lounge at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport drove PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) to be named as one of the most innovative companies in Indonesia.

iMATE Lounge (i-Millennial Airport Travel Experience Lounge) is a breakthrough for AP II to accommodate the current travel needs of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, and bring AP II to receive the Innovative Company award in the Building Airport Digital Lounge from Warta Ekonomi Magazine.

This award is based on fulfilling 3 criteria, namely Digital Innovation (new digital-based products or services), then Process (assessing business processes and their impact on the company), and People (assessing customer satisfaction).

The existence of iMATE Lounge itself departs from the awareness of AP II in accommodating the needs of aircraft passengers, of which 68% are from the millennial generation.

In the lounge millennial generation travelers can find various digital-based services such as virtual assistants via chat bots, co-working space, digital wayfinding, to make travel reservations or accommodation.

More than that, iMATE Lounge now also provides an online gaming area called AirSport. In this area, gamers will feel at home lingering in a chair specifically designed to play games, plus also with the availability of high-speed WiFi (Wi-Shock) which ensures smooth playing of online games.

The lounge is also reinforced by smart robot personnel named DILO who can entertain airport visitors and aircraft passengers. DILO has multimedia features (music, videos, documents).

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said iMATE Lounge is an example of modern and digital-based services that should have become a standard at national airports in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.

"Currently iMATE Lounge is found in Terminal 3 and 2 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and in April it is at Terminal 1. In the future, iMATE Lounge is presented at all AP II airports to provide age service now and realize the true millennial travel experience. "
