Latest news about PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero)
Tangerang - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) implements digitalization of bus services at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Digitizing these services makes the process of departing bus passengers like the departure of train passengers at the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station. This latest service is available at the Terminal 2 bus shelter, and will be implemented in the near future implemented in Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
Through this digitalization, every passenger of a plane who arrives at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and wants to continue the road trip to the final destination, can now directly choose the bus ticket according to the vending machine.
After that passengers can pay for tickets at each counter of the bus operator then take the bus via autogate.
At the bus shelter there is also a Passenger Information Display System (PIDS) that lists the bus's departure schedules for each route.
"Digitizing bus services makes it easier for passengers to reach the final destination in Jabodetabek, and also gets the certainty of the bus departure schedule," said PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.
The Digital Transformation Program is part of the Transformation of Infrastructure and Operating Systems which is one of three corporate transformation programs. In accordance with this year's corporate theme, "Go Global", AP II is also trying to push the millennial segment with the "Millennial Travel Experience" program.
"This latest service is also a form of digital transformation launched by Angkasa Pura II to present Millennial Travel Experience in all airports including Soekarno-Hatta," added Muhammad Awaluddin.
Not only facilitating passengers, digitizing services also makes bus operations more recorded and monitored so as to improve the efficiency of bus operators. Every bus that will get out of settling and enter the shelter at the terminal is required to make travel updates with an RFID card.
"Digitizing this service in addition to facilitating passengers and making bus operators more efficient can also provide data on the level of demand for bus transportation at Soekarno-Hatta Airport," explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
Currently there are 7 bus operators operating at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, namely Damri, Sinar Jaya, Primajasa, Hiba Utama, AGRA Mas, PPD and Big Bird.
A total of 7 bus operators operate a total of 412 bus units on routes to a number of locations in Jabodetabek with customer movements of around 96 thousand customers per day using buses or around 35 million customers per year to and from Soekarno-Hatta Airport. In the future, digitalization of bus services will be integrated into the Indonesia Airports App mobile application platform.
