PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) as an Official Supplier Sponsor of the 2018 Asian Games and one of the largest SOEs in Indonesia fully supports the holding of the 2018 Asian Games which will be held on August 18 to September 2, 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang.

The support is a follow-up of the Cooperation Signing between BUMN and Indonesia Asian Games 2018 Organizing Committee (INASGOC) on October 25, 2017 where PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) synergizes with several other BUMNs to realize support for various 2018 Asian Games activities namely Games Administration, Games Support , and Games Security.
In the Games Administration field, the company will prepare a special gate and space for the accreditation process of athletes when arriving at the airport. Then in the field of Games Support, the company will also provide support for the provision of gates and cargo handling for all Asian Games participating countries. Finally, in the field of Games Security the provision of space and security teams at the airport will be prepared for welcoming and escorting VVIP guests.
"PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) is optimistic that it can provide a great first impression and good service to all parties involved in the 2018 Asian Games when they first arrived in Jakarta and Palembang. The company has prepared Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang and Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport in Palembang to welcome the arrival of all athletes, officials, delegates, supporters, journalists and other devices from 45 2018 Asian Games participating countries.
At Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, athletes, officials and delegates will be welcomed upon arrival at Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. The airport has been equipped with a number of qualified transportation facilities, including the airport train operated by Railink as access to and from downtown Jakarta and the 2018 Asian Games venue, as well as Skytrain or automated people movers system facilities that facilitate the movement of passengers between terminals.
Another case at Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport, is currently developing a terminal to improve comfort and service for service users. The terminal capacity will be able to accommodate passenger movements of 4 million passengers per year, with an additional 43 check-in counters. On the air side, the apron is also prepared later to be able to accommodate up to 15 aircraft units so that flight operations can run smoothly.
In addition to facilitate access from and towards the city center of Palembang, Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II International Airport will also be integrated with rail-based transportation, namely Light Rapid Transit or LRT which is planned to be completed in July 2018.
In addition to preparing physical facilities, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) will also prepare several digital facilities, namely way-finding kiosk, digital signage and digital advertising displays to support the smooth arrival of athletes, officials and delegates at the two airports.
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) will also provide additional digital services that can be used through the "Indonesia Airports" mobile application, where in the application there will be features such as "Schedule & Results, Records, and Medals" which will provide schedules, updates, the results of the match, and the medal acquisition standings of all matches that have been completed.
Users can participate in the Asian Games Quiz feature by answering all questions correctly. In the application, Asian Games Video features are also planned which can be accessed by application users to enjoy all the latest videos and things from the 2018 Asian Games.
