PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) and Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD) agreed to sign a cooperation agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) related to increasing human resources in accelerating the achievement of the corporate vision and mission as The Best Smart Connected Airport Operator in The Region.
The signing of the MoU was carried out by PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin and UNPAD Chancellor Tri Hanggono Achmad at UNPAD Campus Dipati Ukur - Bandung, Monday March 5 2018.
The company's strategic steps are the implementation of the * Great People Development Program (GPDP) * in which there is a Global Development Program (GDP) training and education program to create professional HR through short courses that have international certification recognized throughout the world, and Management Development program (MDP) to improve formal education of AP II employees.
The MoU signed between AP II and UNPAD will provide an opportunity for a Scholarship Program with Job Guarantees; Internship Program; and career opportunities for UNPAD students who excel through the implementation of fast track recruitment recruitment programs, especially in the field of study that is in line with the business characteristics of AP II.
Previously, AP II had also collaborated with a number of the best universities in the country, namely the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) on August 18, 2017 related to human resource development through S2 programs and cooperating with Gadjah Mada University (UGM) on February 23, 2018 in organizing recruitment programs special lane for outstanding students. In the future similar cooperation will also be carried out with other universities.
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin explained, "Cooperation with UNPAD as one of the best Indonesian higher education institutions is part of the AP II transformation program in terms of development and fulfillment of human resources, and in line with business development currently being carried out by corporations when this".
"In 2018, AP II has managed 15 major airports in Indonesia with total passengers served through more than 100 million passengers, and we will even soon manage 7 new airports. Therefore, it is important for us to have and build the strength of quality human resources, "Awaluddin added.
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) entered 2018 optimistically by launching various strategic programs and performance targets in the theme of the Airports Grow Faster 2018 where 3 main programs were launched, namely Accelerated Revenue Growth to accelerate the target of revenue growth of double digits, namely reaching more than Rp. 9.7 trillion. Then the On Becoming 1 Million Aircraft Movements program and the Implementation of Airport Digital Travel Experience at all AP II airports.
After the MoU was signed, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin also shared his experience in the CEO's Talk program at the UNPAD Master of Management Hall with the title, "LEADING BEYOND AIRPORT: The Road to Smart Connected Airport Operators in The Region", how manage the corporation with digital transformation and changes related to the application of digital technology in all aspects of managing airport operations.
