The sharpest jump occurred in international route passengers which reached 12 percent compared to 2016.
In 2016 international passengers were 13,131,035 passengers. In 2017 it reached 14,718,973 passengers.
While domestic passengers increased by 7 percent. In 2016 the number of passengers was 45,064,449 passengers. Whereas in 2017 it broke 48,295,647 passengers.
In line with the number of passengers, the total flight movements in 2017 also increased dramatically to 8 percent compared to 2016. From the previous 413,781 movements, to 447,390 movements.
According to the Executive General Manager of the Main Office of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, M Suriawan Wakan, that this happened because PT Angkasa Pura (Persero) continued to collaborate with airlines and the Ministry of Tourism.

"This is because along with the implementation of the smart airport program that continues to be sustainable, thus making operational efficiency and effectiveness increasingly increasing," said Wakan, Saturday (1/6/2018).
