PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) then fulfills the provisions as stated in SE No. 31 of 2020 issued by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to support SE No. 4 of 2020 from the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19.
"In accordance with the circular, we support the availability of slot time if there are airlines that change flight schedules to serve passenger trips that fall within the exclusion criteria. Specifically in Jabodetabek, flights are only conducted at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, while Halim Perdanakusuma does not serve scheduled scheduled commercial flights, "said PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.
In addition, said Muhammad Awaluddin, all of the company's 19 airports, starting on May 7, 2020, have activated security and inspection posts equipped with health facilities to support the smooth operation of airports and flights.
"The activation of the command post is coordinating with other stakeholders such as the TNI, the National Police, the Port Health Office, the local government, the Regional COVID-19 Task Force and other agencies. The post is expected to be able to support smooth flight and airport operations. "
Meanwhile related to flight tickets, SE No. 31 of 2020 published by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation explained that the sale of flight tickets should not be done at the airport.
Based on SE No. 4/2020 issued by the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, which falls into the exclusion criteria is the journey of people working in government or private institutions, which carry out: acceleration services for handling COVID-19; defense, security and public order services; health services; service basic needs; basic service support services; service important economic functions.
Exclusion criteria also include travel for patients who need emergency health services or travel for people whose core family members are seriously ill or have died. Then, the repatriation of Indonesian Migrant Workers, Indonesian citizens and students who are abroad and the repatriation of people for special reasons by the government to the area of origin, in accordance with applicable regulations.
PT Angkasa Pura II also ensures that airport operations meet the health protocol requirements as stated in Permenhub No. 18/2020 and Permenhub No. 25/2020.
The airports currently managed by PT Angkasa Pura II are Soekarno-Hatta (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Kualanamu (Deli Serdang), Sultan Syarif Kasim II (Pekanbaru), Silangit (Tapanuli) North).
