In the midst of this pandemic, PT Angkasa Pura II encouraged MSMEs in the field of convection which have become fostered partners to now turn specifically to become manufacturers of fabric masks.
At present there are PT Angkasa Pura II MSME fostered partners in a number of regions that have turned into fabric masks and Hazmat producers.
In addition, MSME fostered partners in the field of welding are now also turning into portable sink manufacturers.
Finance Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Wiweko Probojakti said that with guidance from PT Angkasa Pura II, SMEs could adapt in the midst of this pandemic.
"The survival strategy in the midst of this pandemic is that MSMEs must be able to make business adjustments. In line with that, we are directing that MSMEs that have become PT Angkasa Pura II's fostered partners to switch to being manufacturers of fabric masks, hazmat and portable sinks, "said Wiweko Probojakti, commonly called Dodit.
PT Angkasa Pura II, a partner partner of PT Angkasa Pura, which has turned into a fabric mask manufacturer, is located in Tangerang, Depok, Bekasi, Pontianak, Jambi and Bandung. Meanwhile, which is now a APD Coverall producer located in Depok, and which has turned into a portable sink manufacturer in a number of operational areas of PT Angkasa Pura II.
"MSMEs in various cities in Indonesia now produce fabric masks and some produce Hazmat, as well as portable sinks. As a form of support, we also buy their products for use at airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II, "Dodit explained.
Dodit said that currently PT Angkasa Pura II was also inviting other SME fostered partners to also be able to look for opportunities in the midst of a pandemic.
"There is a demand for masks, because in the midst of this pandemic the community must use masks in their daily activities. MSMEs can see opportunities like this to survive amid a pandemic, "Dodit explained.
The partnership program funds channeled by PT Angkasa Pura II as capital for MSMEs from 1991 to May 2020 reached Rp616.63 billion for as many as 31,202 fostered partners.
The fostered partners are spread throughout the regions where PT Angkasa Pura II airports operate.
"PT Angkasa Pura II's partnership program has given birth to many successful entrepreneurs such as bamboo house craftsmen, leather jackets, wooden batik, batik cloth, Muslim clothes, accessories, and now masks and APD Coverall producers.
