Generating innovation, maximizing production tools, and making savings are the keys to facing challenges

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), including a subsidiary in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic this year, has implemented a business strategy to survive and maintain company stability.

This strategy is carried out by developing top line innovation, maximizing production equipment (asset maximizing) and saving operating costs (cost leadership).

President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin said the strategy was also supported by the 3R concept in running a business: Reconfigure the structure; Restore the unoptimal business; Replace the unimportant things.

"Through a properly implemented 3R, it can make the organizational structure and operation processes simpler, then optimize the business by doing business pivoting or looking for opportunities, and eliminating things that are not important (focus), so PT Angkasa Pura II and its subsidiaries can maintain stability amidst this pandemic. "

"Currently, Angkasa Pura II Group's revenue comes from the aeronautical business portfolio and the non-aeronautics business portfolio. The aeronautical business, such as services to airplane passengers and to airlines, is mostly carried out by the parent company, PT Angkasa Pura II. Meanwhile, the non-aeronautical business is mostly carried out by subsidiaries, ”explained Muhammad Awaluddin.

The subsidiaries of PT Angkasa Pura II are PT Angkasa Pura Solusi, PT Angkasa Pura Kargo, PT Angkasa Pura Propertindo, PT Angkasa Pura Aviasi and PT Gapura Angkasa.

Muhammad Awaluddin said that through innovation, maximizing production equipment, and making savings which were also supported by the 3R concept, the five subsidiaries in the midst of this pandemic could contribute maximally to the company's revenue.
