The Air Force Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling of COVID-19 is Committed to Implementing Procedures for the Arrival of International Passengers Well

Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) informed that currently Soekarno-Hatta Airport operations refer to a number of regulations in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country since about 4 months ago.

Handling of international passenger arrivals at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is carried out by the Air Task Force from the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19, which consists of joint elements, namely PT Angkasa Pura II, TNI, Polri, the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health, Airport Authority Office, Immigration Office and Customs and Excises.

The following is the procedure for the arrival of international passengers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport which has been determined by the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19:

For those who bring the PCR test result letter from the country of origin:
1. Check body temperature and oxygen saturation
2. Examination of health documents (PCR test result letter, HAC, epidemiological form)
3. Immigration process
4. Baggage claim
5. Exit the terminal

For those who do not bring the PCR test result letter from the country of origin:
1. Check body temperature and oxygen saturation
2. Quarantine recommendations
3. Selection of quarantine places
4. Immigration process
5. Baggage claim
6. PCR test from the quarantine location
7. Clearing process

Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi said PT Angkasa Pura II as the airport manager routinely conducts socialization and publications related to these procedures and also prepares facilities so that procedures run smoothly.

"PT Angkasa Pura II is also preparing various facilities to support the procedure for the arrival of international passengers smoothly. We will improve what passengers feel is lacking, "said Agus Haryadi.

"PT Angkasa Pura II has contacted Trinity to apologize if there is any service that is not pleasing. We also coordinate with all stakeholders so that services can be carried out in a more friendly manner. "

Head of the Port Health Office of the Ministry of Health (KKP Kemenkes) Soekarno-Hatta Airport Anas Ma'ruf said that currently health checking procedures have been carried out in accordance with regulations

"Procedures have been carried out in accordance with existing regulations to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In the future, we will ask the officers to be more friendly in communicating with passengers, "explained Anas Ma'ruf.

Head of the Air Force Task Force for the Acceleration of COVID-19 Handling Colonel Pas M.A Silaban (TNI AU) said that stakeholders are trying to carry out health procedures at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

"We are trying to keep the procedure for the arrival of international passengers running properly, as well as maintaining order and security so that passengers can apply physical distancing. The synergy between stakeholders will continue to be improved, "explained M.A Silaban.
