Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), the manager of 20 airports, is adjusting airport operations and services to support the Implementation of the Java - Bali Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) on 3 - 20 July 2021.

"Since the beginning of 2020 we have faced COVID-19, and AP II has prepared the airports we manage to be able to adapt quickly to the dynamics of regulations amidst this pandemic through the implementation of resilient operations, agility operations and lean operations, as an effort to support the handling of COVID-19 19. Currently, we are also ready to support the implementation of the Java-Bali Emergency PPKM on 3-20 July 2021," said AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin.

Following this, the Ministry of Health's Port Health Office (KKP Kemenkes) will validate vaccination cards and PCR test results for prospective airplane passengers at AP II airport heading to and from Java, as well as to Bali.

"AP II airports will open two checkpoints for prospective aircraft passengers starting July 3, 2021 to familiarize themselves with the implementation of regulations on July 5 according to the SE of the Ministry of Transportation. Checkpoint 1 is for screening vaccination certificates and PCR test letters for passengers to and from Java and Bali, then Checkpoint 2 is for validation of the two documents by Ministry of Health KKP personnel, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.

In order to support prospective airline passengers to comply with health protocols, AP II collaborates with the Ministry of Health's KKP Class I Soekarno-Hatta starting July 3, 2021 to open the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Vaccination Center, namely at Terminal 2 (for Lion Air Group passengers) and Terminal 3 (for Garuda Indonesia passengers). and Citilink).

"The vaccination center at AP II airport is also in order to support the acceleration of the vaccination program launched by the government so that Indonesia can achieve communal immunity or herd immunity," said Muhammad Awaluddin.

In addition, in addition to providing real-time Reverse Transcriptase Polymerase Chain Reaction (rRT-PCR) services, to support prospective passengers complying with health protocols, Soekarno-Hatta Airport from July 5 2021 will provide Rapid Molecular Test-RT PCR and Isothermal Rapid Molecular Test services -NEAR which can detect the COVID-19 Virus in just +/- 45 minutes.
