Jakarta - Farmalab as the manager of the Airport Health Center at PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) airport has reduced the rate for the rapid antigen test service for COVID-19 screening from Rp. 99,000 to Rp. 85,000.

The rate reduction is effective as of today, September 2, 2021, at Soekarno-Hatta Airport (Tangerang) and Husein Sastranegara Airport (Bandung).

Then, tariff reductions at other airports will take effect from September 4, 2021, namely in Kualanamu (Medan), Supadio (Pontianak), Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (Palembang), Sultan Iskandar Muda (Banda Aceh), Raja Haji Fisabilillah (Tanjungpinang), Sultan Thaha (Jambi ), Depati Amir (Pangkal Pinang), Silangit (North Tapanuli), Kertajati (Majalengka), Banyuwangi (Banyuwangi), Tjilik Riwut (Palangkaraya), Radin Inten II (Lampung), HAS Hanandjoeddin (Tanjung Pandan), Fatmawati Soekarno (Bengkulu) , and General Sudirman (Purbalingga).

Meanwhile, the effective date of the fare reduction at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport (Pekanbaru), Minangkabau (Padang) and Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta) will be announced in the near future.

VP of Corporate Communication AP II Yado Yarismano said the rapid antigen test rate at the Airport Health Center was in accordance with the regulations announced by the Ministry of Health on September 1, 2021.

"The highest tariff for the antigen rapid test announced on September 1, 2021 is Rp. 99,000 in Java - Bali, and Rp. 109,000 outside Java - Bali. AP II as the airport manager and Farmalab as the manager of the Airport Health Center coordinate to set a reduction in the rapid antigen test rate to IDR 85,000."

"The reduction in the rapid antigen test rate is expected to support prospective airline passengers to always comply with health protocols in the midst of the global COVID-19 pandemic," Yado Yarismano explained.

Previously, the Airport Health Center at AP II airports had also lowered the PCR rate to Rp496,000 (24-hour test results). according to the Circular of the Ministry of Health Number: HK.02.02/I/2845/2021.

The Airport Health Center, which provides PCR and rapid antigen test services at AP II airport, is operated as part of efforts to support the implementation of health protocols and maintain the contribution of the national aviation sector to the handling of the pandemic.

As part of the digitization of services, the COVID-19 test at Soekarno-Hatta Airport can be reached by prospective airline passengers by ordering (pre-order service) through the travelin application to choose the schedule and location for the test whether at Airport Health Center Terminal 2, Terminal 3, or Inap Parking 2. The travelin application itself can be downloaded on iOS and Android

Prospective airplane passengers can also go directly to the Airport Health Center location to do a test (walk in service).

Although the COVID-19 test service is available at AP II airport, Yado Yarismano said AP II still urges prospective airplane passengers to carry out COVID-19 tests at health facilities or laboratories outside the airport so that when they arrive at the airport, prospective airplane passengers can immediately process departures.

As is known, in the midst of this pandemic, prospective airplane passengers must meet a number of requirements, including showing a vaccination card and a COVID-19 test certificate which is also available digitally in the PeduliLindung application.
